The garage looks great. I love to power wash everything too! So rewarding when the concrete is clean. The bagster is a great idea. An easy way to get rid of stuff that is broken, no longer needed or useful. I've got to go through moving boxes that have been sitting in the garage with "stuff"(?) for the past 2.5 years. Shameful but other things took priority. Although after so many years if I/we haven't missed anything in those boxes it will probably be an easy donate day going through them.

You guys did a great job. Cleaning out those areas always take a bunch of time. I try to declutter ours every few months. I have that black heavy duty shelving in my garage and I love it. It holds camping foldup chairs, fold up wagon, a large bin of camping gear, car cleaning bucket as well as all my daughters softball equipment. In the shed we have the Gladiator brand vertical hanging storage system for garden stuff, shovels, rakes as well as our bikes. I installed pegboard to hang tools over the tool bench and grilling tools by the door.

Thank you for making and sharing your video; what an amazing transformation! Funny story about your garage fridge; once you had clarified that it was your drinks fridge, it made sense as to why it was so far away from your home-entrance door... at first I was thinking why... because once my dad had to buy a new fridge/freezer and it was at the garage up'an'over door end and I was like, 'Why is that there, Dad? That's the furthest away for you to walk'. His reply (say it in a Scots accent) 'It was where they delivered it' LOLOL *headdesk* I soon moved it for him, he kept telling me it made a big difference LOLOLOL

John needs one of those boards where you can hang your tools. It makes such a difference and he can see them at his fingertips. Plenty of shelving is so helpful.

That’s what we need to do to our huge detached garage. We never set it up the way we wanted it. The previous owners left a bunch of built ins that we’ll never use. Then we remodeled our house and decluttered a ton. So that’s basically how ours looks. Only we’d previously filled a dumpster. 😂 Thankfully our attached garage is super organized and clean. And plenty of room to park my SUV.

Great organization video. You made a place for everything and everything in it's place. Bet you kept occasionally peeking at your finished garage just to see how super it looks now. LOL I envy you in that I have a basement that is 2 thirds unfinished. Over the years it has become a catch all for a ton of stuff. It is in two sections and the far section I call the spider room. The other section is the furnace area. I am super tired of looking at all the "stuff", and my motivation is squashed because I have no one to help me. I'd love to get everything cleared off the floors and organized/pitched. If it was up to me, I'd spray paint it all white and call it good. LOL Will subscribe just to see you tackle more and maybe motivate me more.
